Hotspot click and navigation overlap

Hello,
I have a 2D point and click adventure setup with polygon collider.
I have a case where there is a large patch of ground. And this whole area of ground is both walkable area and overlapping it is a Hotspot with Examine interaction.

So basically you can left-click and walk in this area, or right-click and examine it.

But the problem is I think because of hotspot overlap the ground, the character is not moving to where I click, but sort of wanders around hotspot. My guess is hotspot is hijacking left click even though all Use Interactions on it are empty.

Is there anything I can do to make my case work?

  • I think I fixed it by setting up player layer and hotspot layer not to collide in physics project settings.
