No Inventory hover sound when 'pause game when enabled?' checked

Hi Chris and Forums,

Is it the intended behavior that hover sounds don't seem to work in the inventory menu when 'pause game enabled?' is checked?

I use a full-screen inventory system, so having the game paused is ideal. But if I am only able to use the inventory hover sound without pausing the game, I can adjust accordingly. It just helps to have the screen action/dialogue paused while player is going through the full-screen inventory.

I'm using AC 1.72.1 and Unity 2019.4.10f1.

  • Menu sounds will be played from the "Default Sound" assigned in the Scene Manager. This Sound object will also need to have "Play while paused?" checked in its Inspector - is this the case?
