Strange camera poking issue

Hey I've got a weird problem that may or may not be AC or unity related.

When I move a camera by animating it and said camera comes too close to a player character, the player character is actually physically poked by the camera and has its actual transform changed. Is there some secret collider attached to the cameras that I don't know of?

If the player is passive during the event and I set "freeze rigidbody when idle" the player does not transform.

So it really seems like the rigidbody is being physically poked by the camera, but why?

Comments

  • What type of camera, exactly? Is this a case of animating an AC GameCamera itself, or transitioning the MainCamera between two separate GameCameras?

If the Player's "Freeze Rigidbody" setting is having an effect, it does sound like a collision issue, but none of AC's built-in cameras should rely on colliders.

Can you share screenshots of the camera / issue, as well as your AC/Unity version numbers?
