My first person character won't move.
I've been following the video, but for some reason the character can only jump when I press space, and free-look.
There is an error message in the console: object reference not set to an instance of an object. This may be something to do with Unity. Someone please help!

Make sure that your Player's Animator compoent's Apply Root Motion field is unchecked - your character won't move otherwise unless they have root-motion animations configured.
Regarding the error message: if you select it in the Console window, it'll show the stacktrace beneath, which details where the error is coming from. If you copy/paste the full message here, as well as share your AC/Unity versions, I can take a look to see what the issue is.
