Is there any way to make a menu ignore the game pausing?

I have a "now saving" actionlist that makes a menu pop up to play an animation when the game autosaves, but I'd like the actionlist to continue running even if another menu or actionlist makes the game pause - is there any way to achieve this?

  • If your ActionList asset is set to Pause Gameplay, but has Unfreeze 'Pause' menus? unchecked, it'll ignore the pause state.

    However, that is not necessarily true of the behaviour of some Actions, which still require the game to be unpaused. Depending on what you're looking to achieve, it may be better to script a coroutine instead.
