Unity UI Cursor not changing when hovering over UI menus

ok so I have changed the script but my cursor does not change over my menus - am I missing something?

It's a private video, but check the value of the "CursorID" parameter in the Animator before dealing with the effect it has on your animation.

CursorID has value of 0 as does Menu overrideID. But nothing is happening, when the cursor hovers over a hotspot with examine the CursorID is and the MenuOverride is -1 and the cursor animates

That's down to your Animator's transitions. The CursorID is being correctly set to 0 when hovering over the menu.

My UseID (which should really be called IconID to make correct sense) also needs to be set to 0 when hovering over the menu icon, but it stays on -1, this is why it isn;t working. Can you help me with the CursorID script to achieve this? All the animator transitions are set correctly
