How to do Mechanim head turns?

Hi Chris,

Read through the manual on how to set up head turning for the Mechanim animation system, but can't seem to figure it out.









For Mecanim-based Characters, you can update your FSM with two float parameters that
determine the head's horizontal and vertical rotation offset. The names of these parameters must
be determined within the Character's Inspector.





I can easily create the float params, but where do you assign them? I don't see anywhere to assign them in the Player script.

Does this require an Avatar mask as well?

Feel like I'm missing something here.
