Any way to exclude menu sounds from being affected by audio reverb zones?

I'm making use of Unity audio reverb zones in a few parts of certain scenes to reflect more echoy areas. What I've noticed however is that these reverb zones will also affect the sounds of moving around in menus etc.

Usually you can set a sound object to bypass a reverb zone, however for the menu sounds you have to select items out of your assets, so no option to select one that has an audio source component where this option is usually modified.

Any clever ways already built in to AC to set these sounds to ignore reverb zones? I can't seem to find them if that's the case.

AC plays Menu sounds via the Default Sound object assigned in the Scene Manager - you might be able to do this by tweaking that.
  • Yep that did the trick - thanks!
