After downloading the latest update, I had put together a character, and realised after a while that that "IsTalking" bool wasn't being triggered in the animator. So, I tested to see whether the same character would work in a game using a past version, which it did. For one extra layer of testing, I then installed the latest update into this old project, and following that update, IsTalking was no longer being triggered in the animator.
Hopefully I've just misunderstood something about the new changes!

The update was intended to actually do the opposite, and fix some instances where it wasn't updating. Is the character standing still at the time? Please post a shot of their Inspector.
