'Play audio on every letter' not working...

I have allocated a short beep noise to the 'speech text scroll audio' and the 'narration text scroll audio' within the speech menu.... and also the 'Text scroll overide' within my main characters inspector, but when the players subtitles text scrolls in no sound is made. As a test I added the same sound file to my main characters 'Walk sound' and it worked fine. Is there something I have missed?

    Are you saying that no sound plays only when Play audio on every letter? field is checked, or is scrolling audio not playing either way?

    For scrolling audio to play, a default Sound object must be assigned at the top of the Scene Manager.
