What does the Text Scroll Speed number mean?
May I ask what does the Text Scroll Speed number mean? For example if I set it to 50 does it mean 50 characters per second (seems not the case) or if it is in another unit?

It's just an arbitrary scaling factor, since the "true" speed is determined by other factors e.g. the frame-rate.
