I am not sure if this problem is Unity-related or AC-related, but whenever I'm using the asset bundle feature for speech files in a pc build everything works fine, whereas when I am using it in an android build, the speech files are not running. The strange part about this is that everything works fine in the editor as well with android as the selected platform. I'm using Unity version 2018.2.2f1 and AC version 1.66.8, and i created the asset bundle using [this] guide. OK. How large is your AssetBundle file? On Android, such files are compressed - it may be that it's taking a while to de-compress.
It is about 13.5 MB.
You'll need to rebuild the AssetBundle's target for Android. If you're using Unity's AssetBundle Browser tool, you can do this from the Build tab.
