Flickering sprites when scaled down

Hi,
I'm making a 2D game with Adventure Creator and I've noticed something strange when the camera moves slowly: if a sprite is scaled down, the small details and thin lines are flickering like this:

(it's more visible if you watch it fullscreen in HD)
As you can see, when the character is very small, the flickering becomes very annoying, especially when using the “Cursor Influence” option.

I've seached the internet for similar issues and found that tutorial:
https://adventure-creator.fandom.com/wiki/Unity_2018.2_Pixel-perfect_camera
It solves my flickering problem but it makes the camera movement less smooth.
Do you think the “Pixel Perfect Camera” is the good method to solve my problem or should I look for something else?
I understand it's probably a Unity problem, but I wanted to ask here too in case there's a way to solve it with AC.

Thank you!

(I use Unity 2018.3.0f2 and Adventure Creator v1.67.0)

  • This is indeed a Unity problem - AC leverages Unity for all rendering/graphics. You could try playing with the sprite texture's Import settings, but this is best asked on the Unity forums.

  • OK, thanks a lot for the answer!
