Exclude 3D object from camera fade out

Hi,

does someone know a way to exclude a 3D object in the Scene from fading out when using the Camera: Fade Out Action, so that this object is left on screen? Is this technically possible?

  • The camera fade works by drawing a texture on top of everything, so no - at least not with the Action. You could conceivably achieve something by using a Unity UI and a pair of cameras set to render different parts of the screen, laid on top of one another.
