Broken save after adding new scene

We have our game already in store. With new update we want to add a new scene with language selection at the beginning of the game. Scene was added and works probable, but all previous save became broke.
What can cause this and is there a way to bypass this somehow?


  • Where does this scene sit in relation to others in Unity's Build Settings?

    Save files referene scenes by index number, so if you add a new scene then you'll need to ensure it's added to the end of the list - and then access if via the (original) first scene of the game.
