Player Controlled Container: Remove Item & Place in Inventory

When moving items from the inventory into a container, we can select the item from it's slot, then place it into a slot in the container. However, when selecting an item from the container, it is just added to the inventory immediately. Is there some setting for this so that we can have it function the same way as the inventory, as in - select an item from the container, then place it in a specific slot in the player's inventory, or is this not currently possible?
