Changing NavMesh mid game

I have looked in the manual, and it says to send s message to change nav mesh.

I want the nav mesh to open up once a character leaves a room. So the variable check should send s message to turn off default mesh and turn on new mesh, this doesn't seem to be working?

Is there something I am missing?

  • In what section does is say this?  NavMeshes are changed using the Engine: Change scene setting Action.  However, you can only change the NavMesh in the same scene that the Action is called.

  • It's since been renamed to Scene: Change setting.
