Character:Animate triggered anim won't skip to next Action when done

AC1.68.3, Unity 2019.1.9: a non-looped Mecanim NPC anim won't allow skipping to the next Action. What am I missing?

  • Set the "After running" field to "Continue" - or use the ActionList Editor window to wire them up as nodes.

    Thanks Chris, taking it to the ActionList Editor solved it. Also had to re-enable stuff through Engine: Manage systems.
