UNITY UI Subtitles Position Issue

Hi Chris! I'm having a little UI NPC Subtitles issue, I want the subtitles to appear above the speaking character but I am having some oddness with my unity ui as it won't appear above my npc's and is stuck in the same position, I have two in a scene who both speak in the background but it just won't go above them - any tips? see screenshots here, cheers!

    The Menu's Position type is set to Above Player.

    Ah I’ve moved it to above speaking character and the position is still too low

    That's likely because the anchor is set to the middle of the UI object. Move the anchor to the centre bottom and, if necessary, you can also assign a per-character speech menu replacement child under their Player/NPC component.

    Hi, so the anchor is bottom centre.tried the placement too. No change
