Character : Animate Player with mechanim

So I was doing this interaction with an hotspot and I'm using mecanim as movement system...the problem is when I want to put a new animation like "pick Up" to take an object from the floor I really don't know how to do cuz is totally different from the mechanim system...there is a way someone can help me out?

  • I solved...created a boolean in the mecanim system...activated with 1 ... pause engine... deactivated with 0... :)
  • or you can use a trigger variable and let it go back to idle on exit-time.
    Just call it like you did with the Boolean, activate with 1 and just let it finish, no need to make it 0.
