Request: Ability to use string variable in menu text buttons and other visual elements.

I am trying to create an InGame GUI were the players name (string variable) is visible inside buttons and other elements.

Possible in next releases?

You can already do that for labels- see this tutorial: http://www.iceboxstudios.co.uk/adventure-creator/tutorials/letting-player-enter-their-name

In a label's properties, change "label type" to variable and set the string variable which the above link teaches you how to set.

I suppose it isn't possible yet with button text, but what you can do is put a label over a button to simulate the button text being the player's name.
