Check 2 menus at the same time

Hi i know there is an action menu: Check state but how would someone check two different menus thats open. It going to be hard to explain but here goes. I have three buttons and each one opens an inventory menu. I want it so if a menu is already open it closes that when you click on a button so only one inventory menu is open at a time. Sorry i haven't made it more clearer but the menu: check state does work if you only have 2 buttons but not when you have 3 because it can't check for the third button. I was thinking i in need of 2 if condition is not met: Thanks in advance.

Sorry i worked it out without using the checks.
