How can I disable some hotspots at the start of the game?

I need to disable some hotspots at the start of the game, I have tried to disable the hotspot game objects (flag at the top of the inspector) but then I'm not able to enable them with interaction script.

Don't uncheck that flag, it tells Unity to completely exclude this game object out of the equation.

Add Remember Hotspot component to your hotspot and set Hotspot state on start to off.
