  Are you all sure its not a sorting map thing :P
  
  can you click your bg and set its sorting map to like (-1000 ) : would eliminate this as a cause ( unless its also got a sorting map script on it )  
  
  and cameras to (-50 or something ) in the z axis

  The issue is now fixed in v1.50h - definitely one of the wierdest bugs in memory!
