Hi, I'm considering purchasing Adventure Creator but I had a few questions before doing so. I'll just throw them all in the same thread if that's alright ?
1. can Adventure Creator be setup and run on different computers, and if so, how many ? Are we provided with the one and only activation key at purchase, or is it possible to share it among a small team ?
2. Do you provide student licenses ? We are team of two students (sound designer & game artist) looking to develop games for our portfolio but can't afford to work with developers.
3. The tutorial video about creating 2D characters mention the mandatory use of 2D Toolkit, but its date is anterior to the release of Unity 4.3 and its new 2D native support. Is 2D Toolkit still necessary now ? (once again, we are two students with little to no money, so buying two extensions over 60$ -be they great, which they seem to be ! - is a bit out of our means)
And that's it ! We really look forward to making games with this system.

I'm doing the 2d game written tutorials (more up-to-date than the videos), on the
mesh collider bit now. Note there are 2 sets of mesh collider/navmesh tuts 1 for 2d,
1 for 3d, both named the same though.

And you need to think in a different way about purchasing Unity addons. You'll have they forever, so why not spend some bucks in something you will use when you want?
AC doesn't have student licenses, but - as stated on the Asset Store's T&Cs, only Editor Extensions are per-computer based - which AC is not. One license should be enough if you're all working in the same room.
