I am using Unity 5.4.1f1, 64-bit.
There is no local instance of the player prefab in Scene 0. I tested it by renaming the Player once in Scene 1, Playerooney is still called Playerooney when I return to Scene 0.

Thank you goes out to Alverik, who showed me how to change the Interaction Source to Asset File.
That solves the issue by allowing me to link the interaction of a prefab.
