I found a discussion about the fact that AC and URP (Lightweight Render Pipeline) should work together. Except only if there is an exact case.

I found out a hotspot object hightlighting doesn't work on URP. Is it possible to fix?

If you use URP, you'll need to make use of events to update the shader that you use.
A sample script that does this for Easy Performant Outline, which is URP compatible, can be found here.
