I do not have audio speech in the game yet, but I don't want every line of dialogue to be clicked, instead, I'd like it to be displayed for a period of time and then move on to the next line. However, even with display time factor set and subtitles can be skipped and can skip with mouse clicks ticked, the dialogue stays on screen until user input.
My ideal scenario is dialogue can be skipped through clicking and also plays the next line after a period of time.

The settings should allow for the scenario you're looking for.
Your "Display time factor" is very high, however. Try reducing it to e.g. 0.1.
