Hi, I'm working on my first 2D point and click using AC. I've set up my first scene with a character walking around, using this tutorial:

Problem is, my character only walks on the X-axis, no up and down. He respects the NavMesh width but doesn't care about its height. In the player movement settings I've tried clicking on the 'retro-style movement' and now he can walk around the entire NavMesh as he should, but his Walk_U and Walk_D animations are not played when walking up and down, instead it only uses the walk left/right animations for all directions. My game camera is 2D as it should be, what could be wrong?
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

Here are images from inside Unity. I've tried fixing the two problems in the console, but it doesn't change anything.

Let me know if there are more relavant screens that could be helpful, I'm still very new to AC.
Welcome to the community, @Spruss.
It looks like the issue is that your game's "Camera perspective" is not set to 2D.
Check the "Camera settings" panel in your Settings Manager - make sure that "Camera perspective" is set to "2D", and that the "Moving and turning" field beneath is set to "Unity 2D".
It is also possible to override this setting on a per-scene basis. If this is the case, though, there'll be a message regarding this at the top of the Scene Manager.
If you'd like to watch the official AC 2D tutorial, you can find it here.
Thank you so much Chris, that did the trick!
Really excited about AC and looking forward to diving deeper into it!
