Can't place object in animation slot
Hello,
Feel like this is a dummy question, but I can't put my object in the "object" field of the Object:Animate tab I have. I have an animator, so I feel like it should work, but do I need something else? The object has an avatar too. I know this question is confusing so here is a video:

Set the Action's Animation engine field to Mecanim - the "Legacy" option refers to Unity's old Animation component, whereas "Mecanim" refers to Animator.
