Hey everyone!
On Sunday, I released my first-ever self-made game on itch.io:
https://jags-games.itch.io/the-shadow-over-peenemunde
I made it in two weeks for this Game Jam: https://itch.io/jam/107-adventure-game-challenge
My goal was to create a modern 3D point-and-click adventure game with a classic vibe that can also be played in VR.
(To be precise, it's PC-VR compatible as of today, and has been tested on Oculus Link + Meta Quest 2).
Give it a try and let me know if I succeeded
This is a short comedy game. As special agent J.B., your task is to infiltrate a secret German facility during WWII, steal top-secret blueprints, and vanish like Schrödinger's cat
In many ways, this mini-game serves as a proof of concept - whether you play it on a traditional flat screen or in VR - and I'd appreciate any kind of feedback from you.
Big thanks to @ChrisIceBox for making this possible!
Thanks!

Congrats on the release, @Barnim.
Curious to try this out in VR - how difficult was the transition to it, development-wise?
Thanks @ChrisIceBox
Not difficult at all once I understood how things work after months of digging I have a separate UI for VR, which still is not fully optimized. On purpose, I didn't try to make the VR version physics-based. So it's really a point-and-click game inside the VR world. Please read my notes on itch.io.
Looking forward to hearing your feedback for both flat-screen and VR.
Here is footage from VR gameplay:
Please, don't mind the audio quality - it's only in the video, not in the game.
