Use of Mouse X/Y and Cursor Horizontal/Vertical

In terms of mouse input, what is the difference of Mouse X/Y and Cursor Horizontal/Vertical? Using an analogue stick on controller seems to control both the cursor and first person camera just fine, but when using a mouse I'm having some odd jittery movement with the first person camera. Which one of these inputs controls the camera rotation?

  • CursorHorizontal/Vertical are essentially just AC's name for the default Mouse X/Y inputs - named to reflect their usage by gamepads / keyboards as well as just the mouse.

    AC won't use Mouse X/Y, but copying their default values and naming them CursorHorizontal/Vertical should be enough to get standard free-aiming.

    How is your camera set up? Are you using the built-in first-person camera, the template on the Downloads page, or a third-party asset?
