Adorning Garments In-Game

Any advice on making a character change clothes during the game?  I am trying to mess with the 'Engine: Pause gam'e actionlist to try and parent an object (clothes) to my avatar.  So far the offset to make it fit properly is what's giving me issues.  Any other simple method?

Replacing the player prefab would be the easiest way: in the Settings Manager, you can set Character switching to Allow, and then define as many Player prefabs as you like.  Then you can use the "Player: Switch" Action when you want to switch your Player prefab to one with different clothes.  Just also be sure to check "Share inventory", too, so that your items carry over.
