Calling GUI during cutscene

Hey chris,
   I know we can make our custom GUI for AC, but how does one call that gui during a cutscene?  So far I don't see any actionlist .  I want my character to look at a wall painting and have a gui pop up so they can read the details.
    I had an initial idea to use the 'conversation' actionlist but I don't want to have a player line with subtitle as if the avatar is talking to the wall.  I just wanted a pre-populated gui to be called during the cutscene with some useful info. for the player

  • menu: change state Turn on menu (your GUI name), during your cutscene ?
    Alternatively make a sprite with your text and set it visible during your actionlist?
  • @SkyTree is correct - use the Menu: Change state Action.  Though you'll need to make sure the Menu's Appear type is set to Manual - this way you'll be able to turn it on during cutscenes at will.
