Sidescroll-like game

I have a simple question, is it possible to make a 3D SideScroll-like game with the Adventure Creator Tools?

And if it's possible, may someone tell me how to do it?, I'm pretty new in Unity but I already know the basics about it.

3D cameras can be set to move along the X and Z axes with the player, certainly.  But AC is only for traditional adventure games - if you want to make e.g. a platformer, AC won't be the right toolkit for you.  If you want to describe more about the kind of game you want, it'd be easier to advise you.
