Interactions fail after scene change ?

Weird issue I'm having after building the project into a .exe after the game changes from scene one to scene two all the dialogue and hotspots seem to fail, cursor icons still appear but labels are missing and nothing triggers on user input.. first scene works fine.

Might be worth noting that if I build either scene as a stand-alone they work perfectly so I'm assuming something to do with the scene switch... Anyone any ideas?
