Extending Dialogue node -PlaySpeech (Solution)

Hello Chris, i was doing voice overs so i notice that on Sound node there is no "Wait until finish" so i got an idea that in the same Dialogue node -> Play speech is also a sound object where will be stored voice over for that text AAAAAND it will not show next node until sound IS OVER. Plus if you skip that text sound will be faded. I think this is very elegant solution for doing voice overs.

  • I must be missing something, because I'm not quite sure of the use of this.  If a character's speech has related audio, the Action will refer to the audio's duration, rather than your display value in the Speech Manager.

    In this Action, the "Wait until finish" is instead replaced by "Play in background" - if you check that, it's the equivalent of unchecking a regular "Wait until finish" box.
