Physics First Person

Hello everyone,

I've created a First Person Controlled Player, following the tutorials. I want the player to be able to pickup, drag and rotate objects.

However, I've only managed to make the player pickup the objects, don't know how to make it rotate them. I've tried the input manager, but can't seem to make it work.

Check the screens, It's easier to understand where I'm at.

Please help!

You have your RotateMoveable input mapped to a Negative Button - you need to place it in Positive for it to be useable.

As well as defining your inputs, you also need to make sure the PickUp object itself is capable of being rotated - have you checked the box in it's Inspector?

I've already defined the PickUp Object to being able to be rotated. Still don't know what I'm doing wrong!

How is it defined in the Physics Demo? Can't seem to run it inside unity well, only in the web version.

Ah - just seen: you've misspelt RotateMoveable and RotateMoveableToggle.  Swap the "a" and "e" around.

Usually the simplest solution is the best

PS: I've copy/paste from your tutorial page, it has the "e" and "a" swapped
