menu choice problem

In 3rd person. When I hit the 'E'  Action List it opens up a choice Menu (open, kick, pickup,...) but when it shows on screen I still can move the mouse around which makes it difficult to point at any of the buttons in my choice menu.

I tried Player:Constrain but it didn't help. Is there a way to freeze the Player and its movements until I hit at the action-button I want?

  • Constrain should work, just be sure that you're specifying that free-aim be disabled.

    Otherwise, set your menu to pause when it's opened (in the menu properties).

    The Engine: Manage systems Action can also be used to disable the movement and cursor systems entirely.
  • Yes, Engine:Manage systems works for me.

    GeometriX : There is no free-aim in Direct mode (third person) it only shows up when in First person mode.
