[Irresolvable4now] Conversation mismatched after delete a dialogue option

edited April 2014 in Technical Q&A
I make a quick example to make you understand better the problem:

I have a Conversation with 4 dialogue options:
1) a
2) b
3) c
4) d (NOT enabled)

Option "d" is NOT enabled. It become enable after a certain event, already set.

I decide to delete option 3) c, so the "d" become in position 3)
I create a new option called "e", in position 4)

Here's the new conversation options:
1) a
2) b
3) d (NOT enabled)
4) e

The result is that when the event that should enable the dialogue option "d" is happened, it enable the dialogue option 4) e!

Hope you understand me... ^_^

And another thing: isn't possible to change the conversation options order? Because usually the "Finish conversation" is at the bottom... and if I decide to add a new option line, it's a mess! TX!

  • This has been brought up before, and while I do agree with the points raised, it's actually something I've tried (and failed) to correct.  The main issue being my lack of foresight - in short, correcting the issue would break existing conversations.  Unfortunately, I have to leave it as is - no matter how annoying the issue might be, I can't jeapodise existing work that people have done.  Hope you understand, sorry.
  • Ok Chris, don't worry, I understand the point.
I'll wait to set the "fnish conversation" text line till i'm sure I don't have to add other conversation options!
    Tx in any case!
