Dialogue options linking and order

Hi,

Is it intended that when changing the order of dialogue options in the conversation unity inspector their corresponding linking within the ActionList Editor are not automatically updated as well?
If so, what's the reasoning behind it?
As it stands now, if I reconsider and want to change the order, I also need to go back to the conversation's ActionList editor and manually correct the linking to the correct responses of each dialogue option (as these are not shifted according to the order change made in the dialogue options in the inspector...)

  • It's not intentional, but a limitation of the feature - as an Action's output sockets are not aware of the dialog options that they refer to, merely the number of them involved.

    This was a feature added to make Conversations easier to script in most cases, however the original method that uses separate DialogOption ActionLists does allow for this.
