It is - AC is updated to work with the latest official Unity release.

Another question: can I play videos with sound on an object or I need to buy something else from the unity store?

You can leverage Unity's new Video Player component for this - you can use it in AC by using the Engine: Play movie clip Action and setting the Play clip field to Video Player.
