[SOLVED] Player Vicinity in Direct Mode /2d Unity

hi, very cool update (1.38)! thank you.
but now my hotspot detection in Player Vicinity Mode is not working. what am i doing wrong?

  • Can't see anything wrong on my end - did it stop working as soon as you updated?

    Check that the detecting collider is still on the player prefab and assigned in the player inspector.
  • when i "lock to mouse on star"t and active "hotspot detection: mouse over", it works. but when i change the settings to "player vicinity", its broken. nothing happens when i go to the hotspot.

    player has an empty game object as child with 2d circle collider and detect hotspots script.
