Happy New Year!
Quick question - can multiple 'dialogue: play speech' run at the same time or do they override each other?
My problem is I'm using a 'player line' to show text for things like examines (shown via a AC menu), but, if any other text gets triggered elsewhere it seems to interrupt the display of the player line. This is making the timings and presence of text really inconsistent.
You can see the problem in action here:

Any suggestions about how I can better resolve this?

The Duplicate for each line? option in your Subtitles menu will cause each new line to rely on its own instance of that menu.
Also, if you want to use different subtitle styles depending on the character (e.g. player, narrator), you can limit a Subtitles menu to only show speech spoken by a specific character.
Thanks @ChrisIceBox! Enabling that option seems to have completely fixed the issue.
