Multiple conversation menus

Hey guys

So I'm attempting to create a fallout style terminal system to allow the player to read and use computers terminals. Thankfully the computers are old IBM based computers so functionality is limited to text prompts only.

I decided to us the AC menu and dialogue system to achieve this and have it working to a point. Is it possible to create a separate Conversation Menu for use only when the Computer Menu is active? Obviously I cannot use the same conversation menu as the NPCs use but cannot find a way to have only one trigger.

Any help would be greatly appropriated!

  • If you check Start game locked off? in a Menu's list of properties, then it won't show even when its Appear type condition is met.

    You can then unlock it, and lock your "regular" conversation Menu, with a pair of Menu: Change state Actions.
