I have been creating characters mostly manually. This is laborious and error prone. I was wondering if you know any examples I could use to create a character creator that would do all in once.
My character creation requires AC NPC scripts, couple of other scripts and their setups, adding a face plate, adding shapeable to it and setting it with a script variable, adding LookAt-target behind eyes.
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

AC's own Character Wizard is a standalone script - you could duplicate it and make modifications to suit your needs if desired.
I'd say, though, that the "Unity best-practice" approach would be to create a base NPC prefab and derive the actual NPCs as prefab variants of this base.
