Replace text hotspot label with icon

I've looked through past posts on "hotspot" but couldn't find this answer. Is there an easy way to replace a hotspot's text label with an icon instead such as a glowing circle?

If you just use a space in the hotspot's Label field, it'll come up blank, and only display an icon for that object.

If you want a unique icon for it, you can create new icons under the cursor settings in the AC Game Editor settings panel.

The Hotspot's label appears in the Hotspot menu. If you don't need to show it, you can delete or lock it from the Menu Manager.

Hotspot icons can be configured under the "Hotspot" section of the Settings Manager. Set Display Hotspot icons to Only When Highlighting to have them show when a Hotspot is selected - though you'll also need to assign a Highlight component to each Hotspot for this to work.

You might also be interested in the "Screen-space Hotspot detection" template over on the Downloads page, as this demonstrates how custom scripting can also be used to display such icons.
