Hi,
I am still having this issue where dialogue gets stuck on the screen when there is a quick cutscene or scene change. It does not go away even on reloading a previous save.
I think this can be down to CPU spike or a lot of processing happening. At any road, is there a way or a script that can be written to clear any remnants of dialogue on screen? It is no longer considered 'speech' in the usual sense, so a stop speech, clear speech message won't work.

It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

it seems to save into the gamesave as it is even there on reload
Also, this could be because the player is leaving a scene whilst audio speech is still playing, and therefore, hasn't been told to turn off - do the subtitles wait for the audio file to start playing?
Please do not create a new thread for the same issue we have already discussed.
In your last thread, over a year ago, I offered to recieve a package that demonstrates the issue so that I can see what the problem is. If you can provide one, following the instructions I gave, the offer still stands.
Sure, thanks, meanwhile, I've added a video to the dropbox link, showing that the echo of the dialogue is still on the Subtitles menu. It just seems to be unlinked from any character, hence white, but is not removed with the subtitles stop speech (force of subtitles) action list

Thanks
There is no video in the link.
Seeing the problem occur is not the issue - recreating it is. Once you send me a package that demonstrates the issue, I will address it.

Recreated, will work on a fix.
See the current changelog - it's fixed in v1.66.4.
Not completely eradicated
I can only fix what I'm presented with. If it's occuring in other instances, I'll once again need full details.
