Characters

Characters can be made by assigning their base graphic into the Character wizard, which is available in the top toolbar under Adventure Creator → Editors → Character wizard.

The exact steps involved depends on your intended Animation engine, which will be based on your game's perspective:

  • Making a 2D character
  • Making a 3D character

The following tutorials cover ways to extend a character beyond the basic setup.

  • Making an NPC interactive
  • Setting up a Player to auto-detect Hotspots
  • Giving a Character footstep sounds
  • Switching between multiple Player characters
  • Character portraits: Introduction
  • Character portraits: Expressions
  • Character portraits: Lip-syncing
